Ravi, a fireman, falls in love with Roopa, a simple village girl. The couple is happy in their new relationship until Jagirdar, who also loves Roopa, tries to separate them.Typical Bollywood romantic drama featuring a dastardly jhadaghar ( landowner) in jodhpurs trying to break up the romance between two lovers ( dharmendra & Mala sinha) is given a boost from good performances, scenic locations especially of the trains, and a suspenseful second half. It's a decent romantic drama with good songs.
