A conflict arises between two men - the Chairman of the collective farm Popeto and the only private farmer Dragan. The statements of the Chairman are that "he is the socialism", "he is the democratic centralism". Instead of bringing people together, that only complicated process in their everyday lives. Dragan does not approve of his policy. Only the interventions of the young specialists help to complete the merging. The Chairman steps down. The only private owner proudly joins the collective farm.
