De kongelige skal fotograferes (1899)This is a pretty historically important movie as it features the King of Denmark, Christian IX, and various members of his family getting ready to take a photo. This Denmark film lasts just over a minute and it's certainly going to appeal to history buffs as well as cinema buffs since you get to see the King and so many of his family members. The children are playing around, obviously excited about the photo as they're constantly on the move. It appears Christian IX would appear in a few other movies but this here is the earliest. I'm not much of a history buff to know everything about the man but it's still fascinating to have this footage available.
