This is one of several short films included on a DVD entitled "Movieside Film Festival"--a compilations of mostly terrible short films. Now you need to understand that I rarely say such negative things about shorts--after all, you want to encourage young film makers....except for the ones whose films are featured on this disk. You see, I love short films and have bought or seen just about every short film compilation I could find over the years and it offends me that such slap-dash and suspect quality films were marketed to unsuspecting viewers.Compared to most of the other shorts, "Harry Knuckles" is like a film by Fellini! No, it isn't because "Harry Knuckles" is brilliant but because the rest is so bad. The film consists of some friends getting together to make a fake movie trailer for a martial arts action film. While the production values are pretty poor, there is a certain silly likability that says "hey...try again...you ARE at least on the right track". So folks, try again...there is some real potential here despite the budget of $48.88 (and $46 of this was for lumber).
