Karen and Richard Carpenter host their first Christmas TV special with guests Kristy McNichol, Harvey Korman, Burr Tillstrom, and Kukla and Ollie (minus Fran). Many of the songs were from Spike Jones' 1956 Christmas Spectacular, which Karen and Richard listened to as children.
