It opens with a guy carrying his mother on his back over the hills. He takes her to Joan Lin Feng-Chiao's place. Cut to a boat comes to shore. A gang approaches and after some angry talk they all fight. Back at the house, blind mom is breaking stuff. Whatever the three talk about they all end up unhappy. The story is that our guy's uncle just had his boat confiscated by corrupt officials. They want to use it for smuggling. There is also a love side story that goes nowhere.I have watched thousands of martial arts movies from Hong Kong and Taiwan. I do not recognize most of the actors in this movie.Chu Chiang-Hua does most of the fighting. This is his only movie credit. There is no other information so I don't know what to make of that. The fighting is just street fighting. No particular style of martial arts is evident. My copy is a computer file that plays as a square sized video, like the old VHS format, on a HDTV. The dialog is Chinese (I do not speak Chinese) and there are no subtitles. There is a version of this with subtitles done up by the "rarekungfumovie" group. Their subtitles are intended to be funny but still convey the story. I am not going to bother with tracking down that copy because the movie is not worth it.The fights are just brawls and they are not good. I cannot recommend this for fans of the genre. I watched it once and wrote my review and I am done.
