A very old fashioned love story . Srikanth is the scion of a rich family headed by strict Ranganath . His mother Hema Sudha is the typical epitome of affection and keeps pampering her son On his trip to Agra with his freinds he falls for a girl there who sells Taj Mahal idols Monica Bedi . A few duets later he is forced to come back home as her brother finds out and tries to kill him. At home Sanghavi his would be tries all things to get back in his heart but of no avail. as luck would have it . Nutan Prasad , Monica's father tells her during dying that she is not his daughter and her mother had died during child birth and he had just adopted her . in search of her mother Monica comes to Hyderabad . After a few problems and kidnapping attempts , she reaches Srikanth's house . Coicidences galore in our movies . Hema Sudha recognises her as Ranganath's sister's daugther . she was thrown out of the famly as she had eloped and had died in child birth. The paths of Monica and Srikanth keep meeting and crossing in the same house with Sanghavi being an innocent spectator . In the end ,Srikanth realises about Monica and they unite as predicted . Sanghavi conveniently withdraws quitely . Srikanth is a sweet looking homely hero. He started a trend of family movies from the mid 90s . Monica wears short skirts because thats what village belles are supposed to do . Sanghavi wears short tight clothes because thats what rich spoilt girls are supposed to do . It has hummable songs shot in bright locales. over all a famly fare.
