Papatya the village girl and her father save Ekrem's life as he has an accident. Ekrem feels attracted to Papatya. He takes her to Istanbul with the promise of marrying her. Her looks chance, she becomes a city woman. One day, he makes her drink and rapes her yet he doesn't want to marry her. With the help of Ayse, Papatya starts working at a night club. She meets Yusuf the musician, and the couple fall in love with each other. Papatya's father comes to town, so she plans a fake wedding with Ekrem to which Yusuf is called to play. Yusuf doesn't want her anymore, they fight the club, Papatya takes Ekrem's gun and shoots herself. In her last breath, she declares Yusuf her love and dies in his hands.
