Both Nirosha and Karthik have the features to carry on village character roles. Here Nirosha is the adopted daughter of a music teacher brought up by another poor family . She cuts wood with her sister and sells it to the highest bidder.The villain ( with a big mole predictably to show his evil status on his right cheek ) has his eye on this nubile beauty . She keeps resisting him .Karthik is the village forest officer with some interest in music. this comon thread between him and Nriosha be=rings them close and they start falling in love .Paralelly the village chief is in smuggling business which is opposed by KArthik .Senthil and SS Chandran have a comedy track with Kovai Sarala as the nomadic street dancer . She has the voice and comedy timing to match her performance . she can never go wrong in any role . Its a treat watching her with her shrill voice .Some fights , duets and misunderstandings later all becomes well .A family watch . I miss the 80s when such family social movies were all around us .
