I watched this movie when I was a kid in the 80's, today I saw the DVD for sale and bought it. I honestly didn't remember a lot, especially how sad it gets towards the end.Anyway, this movie is A Mexican classic.This is about Amy and Raul, two kids in grade school and their adventures. Amy is an orphan and lives with his drunk uncle, they are very poor and because of this, the kids at the school make fun of her.It has some funny moments, some sad moments and three musical numbers by Pedrito Fernandez. This was a huge box office hit and inspired a sequel, plus a soap opera series in 2004.
