What is the most fundamental component of a man's life, if it's not his career?Murat and Hakan were born-to-be friends, friends like brothers, brothers like companions of fate. Memories of their shared childhood years; their youth; their hard times, good times; times of joy, times of blues are all over place. When the time came, they chose to go separate ways building careers of their own. Murat chose to become a lawyer, when Hakan started a show business. Years passed; togetherness is a past dream now. The only way they let each other know what they do is at the lines and at the longings of their sending letters. Companions of fate, happen to be husbands of unbearable wives. Hakan is married to a woman, who is as beatiful as pretty as lovely and as faithful as the money goes. She is unsocial, unkind, odd, depressed; and has got everything and every habit, a popular affectionate man hates during their marriage. At the opposite side, Murat is married to a woman, named Ayla, who is a stage starlet. Ayla is deprived of happiness that she's searching for, where there is only love and joy, not the responsibilities of life. Murat loses heart every time he wastes an opportunity of making her wife happy, if he could find any free time after he's off working endless dossiers and court cases. One day again Murat left home for a month on account of his business trips, telling Ayla that he has to go alone and leaving Ayla an atonement, a reservation for an early-summer vacation to a luxury hotel by the Mediterranean Sea. Ayla accepts this snotty offer for one condition: Divorce...Within these feelings and comfort of freedom, as if Murat has accepted her offer, Ayla will find the love of her life, a forbidden love, through the heave of the Meditterranean Sea. Hakan and Ayla fall in love in a suprisingly short time, realizing that their past was a mistake apart from knowing each other. Then they begin to believe only in love and destiny, not taking on board yet to know that the destiny is already written before. Love was as slippery as the sand of the beach to take by handfuls. While Hakan was trying to get together his words to propose Ayla, when the couple is at Hakan's office, Ayla sees the framed photos of Murat and Hakan together, and hears from Hakan that they are born-to-be life companions closer than brothers. Ayla will run away of Hakan unexpectedly and urgently to try to find the way of persuading her husband to tell Hakan; she wants to marry him.
