Two friends, Françoise (Myriam Boyer) and Blandine (Nathalie Guérin) work for a predatory and devious bailiff. One day, when leaving the office, Blandine is accosted by Bob (Jean Mirmont), a charming ambulance driver whom she brings home. The next morning, Paul, a friend, also arrives. But the rapacious bailiff wants to send a batch of diamonds to Switzerland and it is Paul who must transmit the "goods" to a trained smuggler: Mr. Charles (Michel Galabru). Paul therefore imagines using Bob's ambulance for this delicate transport. This is how Mr. Charles will know Bob and that he will imagine with him pretending to be one of his unfortunate clients and entrusting the bailiff's diamonds to his favorite animal: a magnificent python. Now the serpent, once fed on diamonds, disappears. As for the real dead, it was about Françoise's own uncle, who was surprised by so much agitation in the deceased's apartment. Unmasked, Mr. Charles will finally have to share the nest egg finally found with Françoise but also Blandine, Paul and Bob. As for the bailiff, he will never be able to imagine that his fortune which he believes lost on the side of the Swiss border is, in reality, the happiness of his staff.
