Target: Berlin (1944)
Documentary, Short • 0h 15m
Here's another of the wartime 'Canada Carries On' series of shorts about how Canada was fighting the air. The narration isn't done by Lorne Greene, but by Ernest Borneman, a name unfamiliar to me. He sounds like Lloyd Bridges in JOE VERSUS THE VOLCANO. Very folksy, but not as get-with-it as Mr. Greene. It starts with a manufacturer in Canada getting the plans and authorization to build a Lancaster bomber, and conducting all his negotiations over the phone. Hasn't he heard that Loose Lips Sink Ships? No? What did they say north of the 49th Parallel?
