I was so moved and touched viewing the movie. Sandy Andolong and the rest of the cast did a very good job in acting. I am proud the fact that Mother Ignacia founded the first Filipino congregation of women religious in Philippines when she was only 21 years old. From a life of ease, she plunged herself into the unknown, a life of uncertainty. What was certain for her was her faith in God, enhanced by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. She believed. She hoped. She loved. Her faith, her hope, and her love are the moving factors that made her trust unswervingly in God, who called her to His service. She was a brave and courageous woman. During her time, there were two religious communities for women in Manila, one was Santa Clara Monastery and the other was Santa Catalina beaterio, both did not accept Filipinas, so it was Mother Ignacia who gave hope to the natives or yndias to pursue a lifestyle denied by the Spaniards. Mother Ignacia's life was an example of faith, service, and love. She was indeed the first Filipina!!!!
