Les Forbans used to be a quite popular band in France in the eighties inspite of their old fashioned look (they sang songs which paid tributes to the fifties American rock song. Well, at least they were liked by very young people and old people from the French countryside. It was quite surprising that they were asked to act in a film. It was less surprising to discover that this film was actually made by Richard Balducci, probably one of the worst directors at the time (a specialist of bad low-budget comedies).The result is far from being enthralling. Very boring and nonsensical, this film was a huge flop and put an end to their movie career. The nineties would put an end to their music career. God saves the good taste!
