The film contains five short stories, united by the story of the incipient love of two middle-aged people who meet every day on the way to work. Meeting every day on public transport, they do not even suspect that they are housemates, and constantly cause each other a lot of trouble. Five short stories: "The Captain's Daughter", "Father Seraphim", "Argentinean Meat", "Wedding March", "For Only 30 Kopecks" - lyrical stories about these events.
