Soldiers Washing Dishes (1898) This Edison film was shot during the Spanish-American war and shows some American troops doing the dishes. I enjoy watching these older movies because they just capture a moment in time. I can only imagine what these men would have thought had you told them that someone would be watching them 118 years after this was made. There's obviously nothing ground-breaking here in regards of cinema but it's fascinating to get to seeThis film and many others from the Spanish-American war can be viewed through The Library of Congress.
