The respected silver-haired chief-herder, Manthos, is overly protective of his young and beautiful daughter, Maro, refusing to marry her off. However, she is already in love with her father's trusted sheepherder, Lambrinos, who has enchanted Maro with the melodious sound of his hand-crafted recorder. As a result, when the news reaches the ears of Manthos, he banishes Lambrinos forever from the farm and confines Maro in the house. Then, on that same day, a ruthless bandit and his gang kidnap Lambrinos, to disclose the exact location of Manthos' fortune. Now, Maro senses that something terrible is happening. But, can she help Lambrinos, her one true love?
