More than anything in the world, eighteen-year-old Diana wants to visit her estranged mother, Elisa, who lives in picturesque Venice, Italy. As a last resort, beautiful Diana decides to put her effortless charm to good use, to talk her divorced father, Andreas Markatos, a strict captain of the Hellenic Merchant Marine, into letting her accompany him to his next trip to Venice; however, in vain. Of course, Diana doesn't take no for an answer, and as she summons up the courage to secretly board the ship, she falls in love with the young sailor, Alekos. Can Diana help her parents reunite?
