In a colourful Russian Cossack tunic, the indefatigable French director, George Méliès, plays an energetic dancer who knows how to impress his audience with his extraordinary set of moves designed to capture applause. Amazingly and quite unexpectedly, the dancer begins running up and down and across the walls, performing all kinds of extreme acrobatics, such as handstands, flips and splits like a weightless human fly, as the elegant and fashionable ladies cheer enthusiastically. Now, that's a really impressive party trick.
