Of the films I've seen so far with Grace Chang as the star, the only one that is better is "Mambo Girl". This movie is pretty much about three ladies in their early 20's who aspire to become Air Hostesses. It goes through the process of training and lightly touches on the personal lives of the ladies. Grace Chang has a smile that lights up the world and, as in the aforementioned "Mambo Girl" she is nothing short of beautiful. In showing you the job as a hostess, the film travels off lot to other parts of the world which, I'm positive, look very different nowadays. Grace sings in this film also, especially the song "Calypso", which I remember fondly from what I believe is Tsai Ming Liang's best film "The Hole". Althgough it has a few plot twists, its mostly a feel good film, and when Ms. Chang smiles, she is gorgeous. If its little fluffy, I like it more for it. Grace Chang will always be, and this film is a wonderful testament to her beauty and talent.
