On his way to bustling Athens, Lisa--the fragile daughter of the stern former Brigadier General, Vrasidas Moralis--catches the eye of the countryman with a heart of gold and indefatigable paterfamilias, Thimios Boukouras. Before long, an unexpected friendship and an unforeseen alliance forms--and as one thing leads to another--Thimios finds himself cornered, having no other way but to defend the honour of the young damsel in distress.
