Head-over-heels in love with beautiful but impecunious Stella, Tonis, the pampered and affluent son of the self-made but old-fashioned industrialist, Ploutarchos Pachoulos, contemplates settling down and having a family. In the meantime, Tonis' statuesque sister, Diana, is starting to have deeper feelings for Stella's street-wise cab-driver brother, Thanasis, and as one thing leads to another, she, too, wants to walk down the aisle with her chosen one. However, the siblings' haughty mother, Mrs Pachoulos, opposes their union, bent on marrying her children to people who are more to her liking. Will love prevail?
