The literal translation of the title of this movie is Hua Mulan join the army.This film is based on the same Chinese legend of a young girl pretending to be a boy and joining the imperial army in order to substitute her father, the Disney animation Mulan is based on. However, in this film, there is too much martial arts actions and the original story was rather not fully reflected.
