After several persistent but fruitless attempts, Eva, a lively and modern young woman, finally manages to talk her older brother, Chronis, into hosting an innocent party at their place. As this is the perfect opportunity to invite to their house Emilios, her beau and the son of Chronis' conservative and parochial boss, Eva simply can't wait for the gathering to begin--while at the same time--another traditionalist, Chronis' uncle, reluctantly grants his permission to his daughter to have her first party at home.
