It is very flattering for a man to know that his wife loves him dearly, but there are times when affection makes trouble. Henderson has a wife who is as much in love with him as any courting lover could be. So when his old college pal, Clark, comes to visit them, wifey does her best to make things pleasant. One thing does not please her and that is that the two old chums are together too much, and she is being robbed of her husband's time. The idea is strong within her, and soon she gets so jealous that, just like a woman, she consults her best friend about it. The friend advises her that by making love to Clark she can get rid of him. She follows the tip, and is soon making things miserable for poor Clark. He is an honorable chap who wouldn't go and tell his chum all about it, so he decides to clear out. And he would, too, if he didn't find that note the friend wrote Mrs. Henderson. Seeing how matters stand, he decides instead to return her attentions. To her great surprise then, she suddenly finds Clark doing the Romeo stunt to perfection, and to her husband's surprise he enters one day while the act is on. Of course, he goes plumb off the handle, but as Clark thinks he was in on the joke he doesn't mind, until his old pal starts some really uncomfortable shooting around the place. Here he calls a halt, and by springing the letter he found he clears himself, the wife and sort of reclaims old by Henderson's love and affection.
