Pal, Fugitive Dog (1950)

Gary and his friend find a wounded dog, Pal (Flame the Wonder Dog), and nurse him back to health. The dog has been trained by a crook to help in bank robberies (the look-out, not the escape-car driver) and the police trace him to Gary and take him to the pound. Gary turns Pal loose and, realizing he has done wrong, sets out to find him. He follows him to the crook's hideout and discovers the bank loot. saves Gary from the crook, and Gary is allowed to keep Pal.
