Bobby Astyr's antics and C.J. Laing's esophagus perk up SEX MANIAC, an assembly-line '70s NYC porn film featuring the usual suspects. Unlike several other similar projects by "Bo Koup", it remains in print thanks to Something Weird.Picture starts off on a high note as specialist C.J. Laing deep throats Bobby, accompanied by an avant-garde jazz score. Laing is out to hook a man, and is confident of her sex appeal, next seducing a femme co-worker.As the title character, Astyr next humps Gloria Leonard who is quite talkative during sex complaining about Astyr's wife, their scene cross-cut with the previous lesbian bout. Another couple, big-dicked Peter Andrews and office receptionist Jenny Baxter get down and talk about Laing while making love.Cute gag has Astyr removing earplugs after his money shot - he didn't have to listen to Leonard. Film literally climaxes, still in the office, with an orgy spotlighting Laing and continuing an emphasis on oral sex.Nothing ventured here, merely effectively arousing sex as time-killer.
