Lights Out in Europe (1940)
Approved 14 Apr 1940 • War, Documentary • 1h 6m
An anti-war documentary in which the narrative written by James Hilton and spoken by Fredric March---who did not play Himself---makes no propaganda statement one way or the other, but the cameras clearly identify the aggressors. Shot in Poland, Danzig, England and France, the events depicted, and the people/citizens themselves, are a grim reminder of the horrors of war.
