The main quality of this movie is that it shows some bare-handed fights just before the Kung-Fu craze borned. It has great actors Peter Yang Kwan (QUEEN BOXER; BLOOD REINCARNATION) and Cai Fusheng as the evil Iron Gourd, but the action coreography is poorly made. Actually the very first modern Kung-Fu was the seminal VENGEANCE!, released few months before the official beginner THE CHINESE BOXER. This FROM THE HIGHWAY is an interesting antique.
