Thanassis, an indefatigable chemist with a heart of gold, is preoccupied with two things in his life: invent a ground-breaking formula and walk down the aisle with the love of his life and the company's beautiful secretary, Froso. Successful in both, much to his surprise, on their wedding night, Thanassis is called up to retrain in the Greek Army, only to end up marooned in the inhospitable jungles of far-off Vietnam, instead. Now, his unscrupulous boss, Stelios, can profit from his presumed death, and milk his brilliant invention for all it's worth, of course, behind everyone's backs. Nevertheless, after two long years, a weary and emotionally unstable Thanassis returns, to claim back his wife and, above all, his life. Can he have both after his lengthy vacation in Vietnam?
