Jeannot and his good pal Pierrot are fishermen in Corsica ;a group of tourists visits the place and one of the women falls for Jeannot and his velvet-smooth voice .When she leaves the island,he follows her ,flanked by his buddy ,leaving mom and virtuous fiancee behind. Jeannot's and Pierrot's adventures in Paris are not what you expect ;the singer remains a busker ,often broke ,sleeping rough by the Seine ,or winding up in a nightclub where his career will be short-lived.
