There is a Great Patriotic War, but at the front airfield of the bombers there is calm - there is fog, and therefore the planes do not fly. The command sets the task - to find and photograph the enemy airfield on which the Focke-Wulf fighters are based. The crew of a young but experienced junior lieutenant Chervonenko flies out on a mission.
