I watched this movie in the 80s...I was a small girl and I was already in love with the world of cinema. My parents took me to watch this film, and it had a very positive effect on us. We truly enjoyed it. It was simply delightful! I can still remember many of the scenes! It was a very touching story about a little, innocent boy who wanted a dad. The film is about love, friendship, and childhood! The cinematography of this film is also really good. Alas, I can't recall all the details of this film. Now, I want to buy the DVD, because I believe this is a great movie about family, innocence, and love, that should be part of any good movie collection. It is a film I treasure and I am looking forward to seeing again. If you have the chance to watch it, I am sure you will not be disappointed.
