Jan Sladký Kozina was the leader of Chodové at the end of the 17th century. With his wife and 6 sons, they lived as a quiet, god-fearing family. When the ancient privileges of Chodové were threatened, he defended their rights. This culminated in disagreement with the local magnate Wolf Maximilian Laminger von Albenreuth, "Lomikar". Kozina was judged responsible for the peasant rebellion, arrested and executed in Pilsen on the 28th November 1695.
