This one reel cartoon always was quite lively viewing and has become a significant piece of film history and indeed history itself since.Made from a pamphlet and financed by a union, the message that the similarities between people are greater than any racial differences, was part of a post WW2 optimism which was soon to be seen as leftist propaganda and now reads like simple multiculturalism.UPA's personnel and writer Lardner jr. (CLOAK & DAGGER, TOMORROW THE WORLD) soon came under the scrutiny of the McCarthyists.The film is amusing and intelligent - the section on blood types echoes the fiction film LOST BOUNDARIES. For anyone with an interest in animation it is particularly interesting, with the old style cartoon alter egos whispering in the ear of the characters like devil and angel Plutos in with the Duffy style colour overlapping line or the Picasso faces that we will find in the later UPA films like ROOTY TOOT TOOT.This one seems to have vanished. The screening at the Sydney Chauvel Cinematheque is the only one I've encountered for decades.
