Mary, against her father's wishes, works as a singer in the modest Moon club at Soho with pianist and partner Billy, and the two are in love. He composes a good song but agencies aren't interested. Then the recording company in which Mary's father works plans to visit another high-class Moon club at Soho, and the father believes it is there that Mary works, expecting to see her act. So the young couple tries to find a way to get in. At the same time their boss dubious affairs will cause an accident which will have direct consequences upon them.
