Dankner's short story was successfully transported into the big screen, focusing on the Israeli males' infatuation with soccer celebrities. The film depicts the adventures of an Israeli soldier who is mistakenly identified as the brother of one of Israel's leading soccer players. Army life is shown in a realistic way, something most Israeli males can easily identify with. The characters, coming from all walks of life - as can be expected in the Army - are true to life, and there is never a wrong note in their depiction. A highly satisfying short film, highly recommended.
