Of course, I understand Hebrew. Translations to English often really "kill" a movie. I vaguely remember the translation as being o.k.I really enjoyed this movie back in 1976. I had returned to the U.S.A. and had been back for a few years.I always intended to return. This movie really made me want to go back to Israel even more. Now looking back it is sort of ironic. In order to go back to Israel, I would have to leave my family. This movie is about missing (ga'agoo-im) for family. Of course, this movie may seem a bit hokey today. But the message of close family ties, respect for elders and appreciating grandparents is still wholesome values for today. O.K. it is quite corny. But I really did like it. The songs are really really good.Unfortunately,Boaz Davidson went on to make the series of garbage Lemon Popsicle.
