Oswald and his friends are students in a classroom run by an increasingly violent schoolmarm in this rather poor Oswald the Lucky Rabbit cartoon.Schoolroom sketches were a staple of vaudeville and the movies. The Marx Brothers had toured in one, "Mayhem in the Classroom" before they hit it big on Broadway. Likewise, Hal Roach's "Our Gang" series had a fair number set in school, like the early talkie "Teacher's Pet".This one, however, is not particularly good. Although it is competently paced and the gags are decently timed, they are not particularly good gags. Lantz' team did not return to the theme, and you can agree with them and give this one a miss.
