In contrast to her successful cousin who lives in Rome--the popular performer, Pepita di Corfu--the little-known Corfiote singer, Rena Papaliou, has settled for a lacklustre life away from the show business along with her brother, Stratos. The only thing the two cousins have in common is a striking physical resemblance--a vital attribute that will soon come in handy when an unforeseen complication refrains Pepita from attending the glamorous reception of the affluent ship owner, Labros Fokas.
