The affluent Greek-American and successful business entrepreneur, James Perry, and the managing director, Peter Spirus, arrive in Athens to accomplish an unusual mission: the pair must locate the rightful heir of $500,000--a certain Mr Papadopoulos from Peloponnese. However, as the inquisitive solicitor, Tasos Kalogirou, and his honest secretary, Mary, struggle to track down the fortunate beneficiary by placing a surprising public announcement in the local newspapers, hundreds of excited potential plutocrats start flocking to the big city in high hopes of striking it rich.
