After many years, the proud and hard-working taverner, Prokopis Kolaouzos, finally reunites with his only son, Yannis, only to discover that things have drastically changed. Instead of the humble young man he used to be, nowadays, ambitious Yannis aspires to be a minister, going as far as to renounce his origin to break into the upper class.
