It's a great, but very sad and difficult to watch movie. It's very real, makes you cry, and it just left this sad feeling in my heart for a long time now. I've heard many similar stories from people in the former Soviet Union, so it's not made up. Sadly, life can be so sad :( You'd probably want to know more about Soviet systems of doing things. As strong and perfect as the USSR wanted to seem, it was just as week and helpless with its' people. Having a child at home, you can't help but to feel that you want to save all those children, and you just simply can't. You will feel sad and sorry for many of the characters of the movie. I felt mad and angry, and ashamed of my homeland, for not taking good care of it's children.
