Zanzibar (1989)
04 Oct 1989 • Drama • 1h 35m
Vito Catene remembers. A penniless producer, he had only one goal: to make Camille Dor shoot, to have his film, "Zanzibar", directed by Maréchal. A difficult director, in whom no one believed anymore, a problematic, drugged "star". She had accepted, Marshal too. Very quickly, Camille and Vito were attracted to each other. Vito even succeeds in getting Camille to give up drugs. As for Maréchal, his relations with Camille were initially very strained. So much so that Camille accepted everything about him, approached him, plunged back into drugs. Vito then left, so that the film could be made. And there, in his exile, he saw the cassette of the Caesars ceremony where "Zanzibar" was crowned, where Camille Dor sent him a message, remained unanswered.
