The man that played the principal. He isn't listed in the cast, but his name is Eutiquio Cabrerizo. Amazing actor. Unfortunately, they dubbed over his voice with the voice of a different actor. That actor's voice does not have nearly the same melodic richness as Eutiquio's voice. And range! I realize this is a "foreign" film, but how the Oscars passed over this masterpiece is beyond me. I first saw it when I was 23 years old, and I thought it was wonderful. I saw it again just last year, and it hasn't aged a bit. I definitely would have called it a ten 20 years ago, and I haven't changed my mind in the years that have passed.This movie is a must see for every fan of Eutiquio Cabrerizo!
