The residents of fictional suburban Greenland are celebrating the start of Spring with a backyard-barbecue and pool party and later, the annual neighborhood parade. Unassuming, quiet misfit Nick is challenged to a competition of displays of macho prowess by his rival, Corny Blower. Meanwhile, the audience is treated to the retro-futuristic wonders of "The House of Tomorrow."
