Rarely seen urban story based around (and this has to be the only such premise in cinema) two punk guitarists, one 60s, one 70s, and their growing understanding of the other's culture. The German grey, wet, asphalt/concrete jungle frames some memorable scenes - a fantastic guitar solo duel on a towerblock roof is a highlight to watch for. Oddly stylish, and coming from the enduring German style of 70/80s Berlin (circa Lou Reed & David Bowie's residence), whether you'll like this film may well be summed up by one feature: the star's car is a long, white American convertible with 'BORN TO RUN' painted on the side. If that sounds too good to be true, I'd recommend this. If you can find it on video you'll be even more glucklich.
