On a deserted beach, the restless seven-member film crew of an Athens-based advertising company is impatiently waiting for the sun to rise, to conclude the shooting of a perfume commercial. Suddenly, a mysterious passer-by holding an umbrella enters the set, and then, after a laconic but honest apology, the stranger, in unflinching determination, walks into the sea, only to vanish into thin air a few moments later. Of course, the voracious camera eye captures this seemingly straightforward act of despair; however, as the ever-watching police, the local news media, and the polarised public opinion enter the picture, the already fragile boundaries between reality and fantasy start fading away. Now, unable to swallow a preposterous explanation, the inquisitive jingle composer, Nikos, decides to take matters into his own hands, and try to shed light on this impenetrable conundrum. In the end, was this unfortunate incident a suicide, an accident, or was it something entirely different?
