Do Not Commit Adultery (1972)
25 Jan 1972 • Comedy, Drama • 1h 35m
Pino is a young atheist ceramist who lives in Assisi together with his father Damiano, a communist revolutionary, and his partner Nadine, much younger. One day, while on the terrace, he sees Maria Teresa studying for the Latin exam and starts giving her some lessons. Soon they fall in love, until Giacomo, her uncle, notices and drives them away. He remains very sad, but then realizes that her attentions were really just a trick to convince him to convert to Catholicism. Embittered, he plans to take revenge on her uncle by throwing a paper bomb at his house. Pino scolds him but destroys all his room and runs away. His father and Nadine start looking for him and find him eating a sandwich quietly.
